Pride in Progess - Est. 1803

St. Clair Township is the largest and one of the original townships in Columbiana County. Established March 5, 1803, it is one of the fastest growing townships in the State of Ohio, offering an array of amenities for the nearly 8,000 people who reside here.

We are proud of our community and strive to make it a better place to live. If you are looking for a place to live with a hometown flavor and all the amenities for everyday living, welcome to St. Clair Township!

Thank you for visiting our website. We are proud of our history, services and continued growth, both residentially and commercially. Please enjoy the information provided and find our why St. Clair Township is.....A wonderful place to live.

Location

Geographically the township is located in Eastern Ohio and part of a tri-state area, which includes Pennsylvania and West Virginia. This makes us unique as we receive many visitors from the surrounding states who shop and share the same amenities as our own residents. In turn, our residents enjoy many entertainment venues by traveling to metropolitan Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort in West Virginia, and Youngstown, Ohio, all which are within 45 minutes of St. Clair Township.

If you are looking for convenience in regard to air travel, whether it be for business or pleasure, St. Clair Township is just 35 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport and 90 minutes from both the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Akron/Canton Airport. Not to mention the Columbiana County Airport, which is located just outside our boundaries, a ten-minute drive for those of you who love to fly private planes or take advantage of private commuter service.

Interstate travel is only 30 minutes away. State Route 11 (the river to lake highway corridor), which runs through St. Clair Township intersects the Ohio Turnpike and Interstate 80 just 30 miles north to the Youngstown area.
